7/5/16 Lough Currane produced some great fishing in all departments and I will leave the best to last. We start at the West End of the Lake and in the trolling department, Mr. Mike Fish of the UK,  fishing with his Gillie Mr. Mike O’Dwyer  caught a fine 7 ½ lbs. Salmon on the troll, so on that note we head down the North Shore to the bungalow, Dutch Angler Mr. Wim Woermeijer, caught a fine 7 lbs. Salmon, while trolling with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com and staying in the trolling department we head across the Lake to the South Side, Mr. Liam Ellis fishing out of Coffees Bay and at www.lakelandshouse.com caught a fine 10 lbs. Salmon on the troll and in the words of Liam himself, I’m camera shy, so I will let young Master Alex Driscoll take the credit while I take the photo and all I can say is download a Timer so you can take photo of yourselves. Now for fish of the day and what a cracker, Mr. Michael Roden, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Junior Scully caught a fine 12 lbs. Salmon on the fly in Copal. Wind ENE light and with good cloud cover with  light rain at times.
