10/5/16 There was good manipulation on Lough Currane today. We start in the fly department. Mr. Bill Lacey, fly fishing in the hired out boat department of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught a cracker of a 10 lbs. Salmon on the fly, on the drift. Now we head down the North Shore to Vincent’s Harbour, renowned Artist, Mr. Harry Feeney and of www.relaxwithwatercolour.com caught a fine 10 lbs. Salmon on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com Now for the à la carte specimen Sea Trout department, Scottish Angler Mr. Alistair Dubar, fishing in a hired out Boat from Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com caught a fine specimen Sea Trout of 6 ½ lbs. On the fly, while drifting. Wind light to calm East with good cloud cover and very humid with persistent rain this evening.
