17/9/14 Again Lough Currane saw some good action, but sadly the paparazzi failed miserably in his duties, but more on that later. Now to the action, in the fly and C&R department, Mr. David Burton of the UK, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught 2 Sea Trout both in the 1 ½ lbs. class. Staying with C&R,Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley, caught 4 Sea Trout, ranging from Juniors up to 4 lbs. Now we go South Side and the hired out boat department of www.lakelandshouse.com Mr. Dermot Doheny caught 2 Sea Trout, 1 lbs and finished his day off with a Sea Trout in the 2 lbs. Class, also in good form in Frank’s hired out boat department was Rob and Martin Burns, with 5 Juniors. Now to the trolling department, Ms. Barbara Hewit caught her first ever Salmon weighing in at 5 lbs and may it be the first of many,  and Barbara’s Gillie MD reported to me that they also lost one. Now to catch of the day and that goes to Mr. William Timmermans of Holland and Waterville, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught a fine 9 ½ lbs Salmon and finished their day off with 4 Juniors, and yes you have it that is where I failed with the Camera , sorry for this but due to recent miss reporting I went to Speck Savers to check me eyes. Now to the upper Lakes on Lough Derriana, guests caught 3 Sea Trout and a few Brown Trout. Wind Light Variable and come afternoon it was Easterly fresh with very good cloud cover and humid.
