Neil
the first of many of Lough Currane Sea Trout
2/7/14 I start today’s notes in the criticism department of myself, reason being I reported the day before yesterday on Mr. Ian McMullan fine Sea Trout, but failed to report that Ian was fishing out of www.butlerarms.com I apologise for this mister meaner. Now for today’s action with the fly and the troll, and last but not least the verbal’s. First in the striking zone in the fly department was Mr. Neil Atkinson of the UK, fishing out of www.curranelodge.ie caught his first 3 lbs. Sea Tout on Lough Currane on the fly, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com staying with the Sea Trout department we cut across to the South side, Mr. Stefan Kaufman caught 2 Sea Trout on the fly in the 3 lbs class, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com Now we cut back to the North side and the Salmon department and Mr. Ben Johnson of the UK, fishing out of www.curranelodge.ie caught a fine 6 lbs. Grilse on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Now to the verbal’s, well this is a family site so I will leave it to the confessionals’ Wind SW fresh with reasonable cloud cover with light rain this evening.
